Toy Library Returns Assistant
Surround yourself with over 1000 toys and happy children who have discovered something new to play with. Support the environment and your local community by volunteering at your local toy library to process our toy returns. Casual or ongoing support.
Photography workshop support and mentors
Coach and mentor youth ages 8-18 in nature photography. Nurture their love for nature, get them excited about photography and give them ideas to move their skills forward.
Friendship – Shooting Hoops & Creative Activities (Hillcrest)
Build a fun, active one‑to‑one friendship with a young adult in Hillcrest. Enjoy casual activities like shooting hoops and simple creative or video ideas as part of IHC’s Volunteer Friendship Programme.
Friendship – Library & Quiet Outings (Glenfield)
Build a quiet, meaningful one‑to‑one friendship with an older adult in Glenfield. Enjoy calm outings together such as visiting the library, local cafés, or bowls club as part of IHC’s Volunteer Friendship Programme
Friendship – Dance & Active Outings (Coatesville)
Build a genuine one‑to‑one friendship with a young woman in Coatesville. Enjoy active, energetic outings such as dance, swimming, and community classes while supporting confidence and connection.
Volunteer Friendship - Outdoor & fishing (Milford)
Build a genuine friendship with a young adult in Milford. Enjoy relaxed time together walking locally, chatting, listening to music, or going fishing as part of IHC’s Volunteer Friendship Programme.
Digital Storytelling & Community Impact Assistant
Support The Kindness Institute to share inspiring kaupapa, grow community engagement, and create social media content that uplifts rangatahi wellbeing through a kaupapa Māori and values-led approach.
