This is a visiting programme for Asylum Seekers detained at Mt Eden Prison or at the Mangere centre. It will involve an induction process to allow you to visit the detainees at these facilities for regular visits once a week on a weekday afternoon.
We are looking for support for our refugee clients based at our Blockhouse Bay hostel. The role will involve a variety of tasks from advocacy work, sorting donations to providing transport.
We need someone to help transport our clients to community events e.g. trips to the beach, yoga classes, English classes, concerts, and events etc. We have an 8 seater vehicle to be used for this. Will be a fun and interactive role with our clients
We work with young children and their families who are mostly from a refugee or migrant background. We run a playgroup three mornings a week where children engage in free play, and parents can play alongside their children and attend English classes
