The Whau River Catchment Trust
We are the principal environmental organisation for the Whau River catchment area, working towards healthier streams and rivers through community participation and kaitiakitanga.
Available Roles:
Drone operator to help with Whau River survey
Do you have drone-flying experience? Then we'd love to hear from you! Our goal is to make an aerial survey of the Whau River to identify sites with litter that require attention for our upcoming Whau River Clean-up.
We are looking for some keen volunteers to help with weed spraying on some of our ecological restoration sites.
We're looking for some keen volunteers to help with trapping invasive rats and possums along Rosebank Peninsula, to protect the wildlife in the nearby marine reserve. Don't worry if you've never done this before - full training will be provided.
We need someone with web/marketing skills to help us operate our website and social media to promote our events and reach more eyes.
