The Core purpose of Riding for the Disabled is to provide interaction with horses to improve the wellbeing for people experiencing disability or have specific challenges or needs.
Handyperson
Do you have some time on your hands? Do you have a passion for older adults and want to support them to remain independent? Are you 'handy' around the house and practical minded? If so we want to hear from YOU!
Sailing Coach Assistant
We provide people with disabilities the opportunity to sail in safety and to experience adventure and freedom.
Garden Keepers
General grounds keeping Do you enjoy working outdoors and would like to lend a hand to this important community asset?
Gardener
Do you enjoy gardening, and want to be part of a vibrant arts community?
Bureau Interviewer
The role is to provide advice to clients on a wide range of enquiries. Priority locations are: North Shore (Birkenhead and Glenfield) and Rodney (Helensville)
Mentor for Young People
Are you ready to make a profound difference in a young person’s life? Are you passionate about being a supportive friend and mentor, join Upside as a volunteer mentor! Your consistent presence can inspire and empower a young individual to thrive.
Reader Leader
We are looking for adult volunteers (18 +) to train as Reader Leaders & join a team running a monthly shared reading group.

Hand sorting good quality, rescued food for distributing to community groups the next day to "feed people, not landfill".
