Social Food Pantry Assistants

Our Social Food Pantry (PSN’s version of a foodbank) provides essential food support to many people in our community every week. We are currently seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help with a variety of tasks.

Communication Assistant

As Communication Assistant you will support people with aphasia to increase their confidence and improve communication and leadership skills to help them re-join life's conversations.

Senior Friendship Centre - Pukekohe

Weekly on Monday Mornings, the team in Pukekohe needs fit and fun-loving volunteers who can assist with set up and pack down, general assistance, games and contribute to the lives of people through engagement and fun.

IHC Friendship Volunteering - Counties

The IHC Friendship Programme is a one to one friendship programme. In particular we are looking for someone who loves sport and would like to befriend someone with an intellectual disability in the Weymouth area.

Evening Support Crew - Take 10 Safe Zone

Have you got time once a month between 10 pm – 3 am on Friday and/or Saturday evenings? Would you like to support others by being part of a group that provides a safe place for people at night? Would you like to positively influence other people?

Laundry Pod Volunteer

Love a good chat? Have a few spare hours a week or fortnight? Looking to give back to your community? Support whānau in your community by providing access to free laundry services, while engaging in non-judgmental and genuine conversation!

Support Companion

We are seeking compassionate volunteers from across Auckland to do home visits to a locally assigned elderly and/or unwell client to provide support companionship.

Driver & Community Connector

Love a good chat? Have a few spare hours a week or fortnight? Looking to give back to your community? As a volunteer driver you will play a pivotal role in supporting people in your community by providing access to free laundry and shower

Conscious Kitchen Volunteers

We rescue food daily from supermarkets, growers and manufacturers which sees us rescue an abundance of bananas. For the produce that are not aesthetically appealing we want to upcycle and repurpose them so they can still go out to those in need.
