Home Visiting Program (West Auckland)

We are seeking a Volunteer Home Visitor to support families in West Auckland during the week. Plunket’s Volunteer Home Visiting Programme offers short-term practical and emotional support to families referred by Plunket Nurses. Volunteers help with light housework, provide a listening ear, assist with positive parenting, and connect families to community resources—all in the family’s home.

Requirements:

Good communicator
Experience in parenting or experience with babies/and young children
Kind and empathetic
Non-judgmental nature

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Volunteers visit families 1 to 2 hours per week for four weeks.
