Kaipātiki Project
As one of the largest restoration and environmental education providers in Auckland, our aim is to restore the Eskdale catchment area and native bush in North Auckland, at the same time as increasing community engagement.
Available Roles:
Stream regeneration working bee
Dive into hands-on activities with native plants, contributing to the ongoing regeneration of the local ecosystem guided by an expert ecologist from Kaipātiki Project, and discover the wonders of nature in your own backyard.
Do good and keep our neighbourhoods clean by participating in a streamside rubbish clean-up, contributing to the preservation of this natural haven.
We invite you to join us and revitalise the health of our local streams — supporting the precious ecosystems that rely on them. With just a little bit of direction from our team, you will fast become an agent of change in our reserves and your community.
Witheford Reserve Regeneration
Join us and regenerate a special reserve near Kaipātiki Estuary. Help us clear invasive plants, eradicate pest animals, and enhance the health of the native bush. Learn about ecology, connect with others and make a positive impact on the environment.
Volunteers are the life-blood of our organisation. Join our cause and choose between helping out at our native plant nursery, community gardens, bush regeneration projects, zero waste projects, and more! Learn all about it at our Volunteer Welcome Days!
