Planting Day at Ōpuawānanga | Eskdale Park
Join us for a rewarding day of planting and be part of restoring this special reserve. Together, we will plant native trees and shrubs that support local wildlife, improve biodiversity and help strengthen a resilient, healthy environment for future generations.
This is a hands-on opportunity to make a real, lasting difference in your community. Whether you are a seasoned volunteer or joining us for the first time, everyone is welcome. Our team will be there to guide you, share knowledge and make sure you feel confident getting involved.
Bring your friends, whānau, or come along solo and meet like-minded people who care about protecting and restoring nature. It is a great way to spend time outdoors, learn more about native planting and contribute to a meaningful cause.
We will provide all the tools, gloves and guidance you need. Just bring sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing and a water bottle.
Booking for this event is essential, as spaces are limited for health and safety reasons.
