Community Weeding Bee - Rosebank

The Whau River Catchment Trust is a non-profit environmental group, delivering ecological restoration projects all across the catchment with the support of our amazing west Auckland community. We are holding a community weeding bee at Tony Segedin Esplanade Reserve on Sunday morning, 23rd February, to remove weeds from around our native tree plantings. No experience required. All tools and gloves provided, plus biscuits and juice for morning tea. More hands make light work, so why not bring your friends along as well!

Requirements:

Sturdy, closed-in shoes; a drink bottle; sunscreen and a sunhat. Trousers are recommended to avoid scratches, though it can get pretty hot in them.

Time commitment:

One-off event on Sunday 23rd February, meeting at 9:30am and finishing no later than 12:00pm
