Stream Clean Up

Kaipatiki Project
Conservation | Working Hours | Birkdale
16 May 2025

Join Kaipātiki Project and help us keep our streams safe, healthy, and flood-resilient!

Heavy rains can cause streams to overflow, leading to flooding. To be prepared for potential flooding events, we will:

Clear fallen trees, debris and rubbish.
Remove invasive plants that hinder the natural ecosystem.
Hosted by Kaipātiki Project and proudly supported by Auckland Council Healthy Waters.

Please meet at Kaipātiki Project Ecohub, 17 Lauderdale Road, Birkdale by 10am

Requirements:

Mobility required, as we will be working off the track and in the streams along the Eskdale Reserve.
