Creek Restoration at Stoddard Road
Our collaborative group, Friends of Oakley Creek, invites you to participate in the creek restoration event at Stoddard Road.
Come and make a difference to plant and maintain our native young trees! These trees will require further care and nourishment, as well as ongoing effort in weeding to increase their survival. Once they are established, a more friendly habitat for birds, insects, reptiles and shady water catchment with tuna will be created to enhance our biodiversity. By restoring the riparian environment, we aim to make the area more resilient to stormwater runoff and reduce the flood risk.
