Mahjong Support
We are looking for friendly volunteers who are keen to share their passion for Mahjong with the Knox Community.
We're seeking volunteers who are empathetic, understanding, and great at communicating. Other than those attributes, we simply want you to join our community and share your passion for Mahjong while forming great friendships with our residents!
We have a Mahjong set and small group of residents who have been playing on a Sunday morning. Ideally, we would like to continue to offer the game on Saturday or Sunday during the daytime hours.
All volunteers complete an orientation to learn basic Health and Safety and be ready to be an active member of our volunteer team.
One visit per week, up to 2 hours, either Saturday or Sunday

The first step is to express your interest by applying directly to the organisation. You will then be able to find out more about the role and how to proceed.

Please note: Over the summer break your online registrations will be automatically processed however you will be unable to speak with one of our staff until we return 12 January 2026. As most Non-Profits will close during this time there may be a delay in responding to your enquiry.
