Your role will be to provide patient, friendly company and engage in simple, everyday conversations using clear, slow, and easy-to-understand words. Whether it’s chatting about daily life, shared interests, or hobbies, your clear speaking voice and thoughtful interaction will help him connect and bring joy.

Must be male (to match the resident)
A clear speaking voice with very clear diction is essential
Ability to use simple, everyday words and speak slowly to assist speech improvement
Warm, patient, and sociable nature
Confidence and willingness to listen as well as share stories
Understanding and sensitivity

A Police background check is required for this role.

There is no minimum number of weeks required, and we ideally want someone to come in weekly, but we will work with you to find a schedule that suits you, whether weekly or fortnightly or monthly. Consistency and a joyful attitude are the most important.
