We are making space for nature by satisfying-ly removing some invasive ginger from near a quaint little stream that runs into the Manukau Harbour. We cant wait to see the natural forest regeneration but we have to get this gnarly ginger out of the way first. We will be sharing bread and butter pudding, treats, tea, and coffee afterwards. All tools, gloves, and equipment are supplied, we just need you. Help us restore Waikōwhai this Friday. Register your interest and we will send you the location deets !
Gardening gloves if you have them (tools on us). Water bottle to stay hydrated. Sturdy footwear (shoes, boots, or gumboots). Weather appropriate clothes.
