Garden Volunteers -Community Feeding Communities

Communities Feeding Communities (CFC) is a Presbyterian Support Northern (PSN) initiative dedicated to addressing the critical issues of food security and social cohesion in the Puketapapa (Mount Roskill) area. We provide essential food support to PSN's services, partner organisations and emergency food support for people living in the Puketapapa area. This support is delivered alongside a Pataka Kai, community kitchen, and community gardens.

Requirements:

Tasks include preparing garden beds, digging, composting, weeding, sowing seed, tending to seedlings, planting and keeping the space beautiful. All experience levels welcome, tools and guidance provided. Come grow kai, community, and connection with us!

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Tuesdays 9:30 - 11:30 am
