Building wooden compost bins

The Whau River Catchment Trust is a non-profit environmental group, delivering ecological restoration projects all across the catchment with the support of our amazing west Auckland community. We are needing several (up to 3) large bins built for organic waste generated by our native plant nursery. These will be built from wooden pellets. We need someone who is skilled in carpentry who can build these bins to our specifications. Shed space and materials will be provided, but you may need to bring your own tools. Our nursery is in Blockhouse Bay.

Requirements:

You must have basic carpentry experience and be able to bring your own tools.

Time commitment:

Any number of hours between 10am and 3pm, Wednesdays and/or Thursdays. You must be able to commit to finishing the project.
