Event Compliance Support

This role involves being stationed at the boat ramp to welcome members of the public as they arrive, hand out Health & Safety information, and help ensure event rules are being followed. You must be comfortable to gently but confidently enforce requirements — for example, turning away participants who arrive without required safety equipment such as life jackets. You will also be keeping a record of numbers, so we can gauge the overall attendance at our event.

The role is largely unattended, so we’re looking for people who are comfortable working independently and using good judgement when needed. There may also be long quiet periods between arrivals, so this role would suit someone who is happy to bring a book, or other quiet activity — or better yet, two friends who would enjoy volunteering together.

If you would like to get involved, please email to get in touch!
