Experienced Gardener
ME Respite are a charity who focus on practical ways to improve the lives of those with ME/CFS, Long Covid and associated conditions. We deliver meals, run online support groups, educate patients, families and communities about living with chronic health conditions. We also have two physical op shops and one online store, plus a stall on Waiheke Island at Ostend on Saturdays. To help raise funds we are raising and selling pot plants. If you are an experienced gardener who loves plants, loves seeing what grows from seeds or loves taking cuttings from easy to grow plants, we'd love your help.
We will be supplying pots, potting mix, cuttings and seeds. We are looking for someone experienced to pot everything up and weed them, if necessary, as they establish themselves before they are sold. All profit goes to help those who have ME/CFS, Long Covid and associated conditions. You can find out more about what ME Respite does on our website. merespite.org.nz
You will need to:
- be an experienced gardener
- love gardening
- have knowledge of propergating plants
- have a car and drivers license as where we do this isn't on a bus route
- be honest
- be reliable
- have good english
2- 3 hours a fortnight
