The Franklin Integration Project (FIP) is seeking friendly, enthusiastic committee volunteers and all-rounders to help plan and deliver the Franklin Positive Ageing Expo, one of Auckland’s largest free events focused on ageing well.
About Us
The Franklin Integration Project (FIP) was formed in 2004 with a mission to support the integration of health and social care services for older people living in the Franklin District. FIP is a registered charity with the Charities Commission.
Our annual Franklin Positive Ageing Expo is widely recognised as a “one-stop shop” for information and guidance on ageing well. The Expo brings together approximately 70 local health organisations, businesses, and social groups, along with a lively stage programme showcasing exercise and activity options that promote balance, strength, wellbeing, and social connection.
While the Expo is held in Pukekohe, visitors attend from across the wider Auckland region and beyond.

Requirements:

We are seeking bright, enthusiastic, and computer-savvy volunteers who is keen to contribute their time and skills. Full training will be provided, and all templates and systems are already in place to support you in the role. You will work closely with our Expo Coordinator as part of a friendly and supportive team.

We are looking for people who can spare a few hours a week and enjoy working as part of a supportive, community-focused team.

Time commitment:

• Monthly meetings: 2 hours Held on the third Wednesday of each month in Pukekohe
• Outside of meetings: A minimum of a few hours per week is required to complete tasks and support planning. The workload is manageable but regular commitment is essential.
