About Us:
The Motuihe Trust is a non-profit organization committed to the protection and restoration
of the unique ecosystem on Motuihe Island (Te Motu-a-Ihenga). Once a barren landscape,
our tireless efforts have transformed this Hauraki Gulf gem into a thriving sanctuary for
native flora and fauna. We've reintroduced endangered species, planted hundreds of
thousands of native trees, and created a safe haven for wildlife, all through the incredible
support of volunteers, sponsors, and partners.
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a new Trustee to take on the vital responsibility of leading the fundraising
for the Trust with a specific focus on seeking donations and sponsorship from companies to
support the project who want to enhance their community profile. This is more than a
fundraising role; it's about building meaningful, long-term partnerships with businesses that
share our values and are committed to making a tangible difference.

We are seeking an individual who is:

leaders and decision-makers.

articulating the impact of corporate support.
∙Results-Oriented: Driven to secure financial and in-kind contributions that will fund
our critical restoration projects.
∙Committed to Conservation: Genuinely invested in the protection and restoration of
New Zealand's natural heritage.
What You Will Do:
∙Develop and execute a corporate sponsorship strategy to secure new funding.
∙Cultivate relationships with potential corporate partners.
∙Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations.
∙Collaborate with the Board of Trustees and our team to identify funding needs and
opportunities.
∙Represent the Motuihe Trust at events and networking functions.
