Board Games Support

We are looking for friendly volunteers who are keen to share their passion for playing board games with the Knox Community.

We're seeking volunteers who are empathetic, understanding, and great at communicating. Other than those attributes, we simply want you to join our community and share your passion for board games while forming great friendships with our residents!

We have a regular board game called Qwirkle on a Wednesday and Friday from 3:30 to 5pm with a small group of residents who have been playing on a regular basis. Don't worry if you can't play - we will teach you.

All volunteers complete an orientation to learn basic Health and Safety and be ready to be an active member of our volunteer team.

A Police background check is required for this role.

One or two visits per week, up to 2 hours, Wednesday and/or Friday from 3:30 to 5pm
