Predator Trapping on the North Shore
We’re looking for a couple of fit, reliable volunteers to join a small crew helping to install and maintain lines of AT220 self-resetting traps in the beautiful bush around Long Bay and Redvale on Auckland’s North Shore.
- Full training provided – great chance to get familiar with new conservation tech.
- Around 10 hours every 2 months, with flexibility to work at your own pace
- Ideal for a student who wants some hand on conservation experience that fits around their studies.
These traps are part of a long-term project to protect our precious native birds and forms part of a landscape scale project in this area.
If you’re keen to get involved or want to know more, email Manager@restorehb.org.nz
