Animator
Headway, a leading brain injury charity, is on a mission to educate young people about what really happens to the brain during and after a concussion and we need your creative spark to make it happen!
We aim to create a dynamic, age-appropriate animated video that will:
• Capture the attention of rangitahi
• Clearly explain the science of concussion
• Empower young people to understand and protect their brains
We’re looking for a skilled animator who can volunteer their time and talent to help us bring this important message to life. You’ll be working closely with our team to develop a visually engaging, informative, and impactful animation that could be shown in schools, youth groups, and online platforms.
This project is part of our broader response to the controversial Run It Straight campaign, which has gained national media attention for promoting harmful attitudes toward concussion. We’ve taken a public stand against this messaging and are now taking action.
Help us make brain science understandable, memorable, and life-changing and be part of the movement to protect rangitahi from preventable concussions.
We’re seeking a skilled animator who can:
• Create a short, visually engaging animation (2D or 3D)
• Translate complex brain science into clear, compelling visuals
• Capture the attention of a teenage audience
• Work with us to shape the tone and style of the video
• Volunteer their time and talent pro bono for a meaningful cause
