EXPO SECRETARY Pukekohe/Franklin Event

If you are computer savvy and can spare us a few hours a week

We need volunteers! Your help would be invaluable in keeping the Expo running. We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic people to assist with:

Committee Secretary – Able to attend monthly meetings held in Pukekohe and work with Google docs with emails and liaising with other committee members and exhibitors . Support from outgoing secretary provided
General event support – Attending Monthly Meetings Being , an extra set of hands to make the day as enjoyable as possible, available for set up and pack down
The Franklin Integration Project Reference Group (FIP) was formed in 2004 with a mission to support the integration of health and social care services for older people living in the Franklin District. The FIP is Registered with the Charities Commission
As far as we know, our one stop shop Expo is the largest, free event in Auckland to gather information and guidance on ageing well, bringing together under one roof, approximately 70 local health organizations, businesses and social groups who showcased their services and products each year. In addition, there is a stage programme which demonstrates a wide range of exercise and activity options to improve muscle tone and balance in older people and provide important social interaction. Whilst the Expo is held in Pukekohe, visitors who attend come from the wider Auckland region and further.
We couldn’t plan for and hold an Expo of this size without teams of volunteers, who support us in various ways, such as on the planning committee, setting up the hall the day before, throughout the Expo day and packing down at the end of the day.

This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community, meet new people, and be part of something truly special. The event wouldn’t be possible without the support of amazing volunteers like you!

We would absolutely love to have your help
