Part-time Treasurer

The role would involve preparing and sending monthly venue hire invoices, managing income and expenditure, maintaining financial reports, and preparing annual reports for auditing. A financial report is required at the (up to) ten Executive Committee meetings yearly. Prepare an annual statement of accounts and balance sheet to be presented at the Annual General Meeting. To complete the AHC's annual return, including financial information as required under the Charities Act 2005. May also be required to organise floats and collate income for our three annual horticultural events.

Requirements:

Knowledge of banking and invoicing, and preferably previous experience in this type of work.

Time commitment:

This position would require twelve to fifteen hours of remote work each month and involve attending Sunday Executive Committee meetings at our Western Springs venue up to ten times annually, including the AGM. Although not essential, we hope that the new Part-Time Treasurer will also be able to assist with general duties during our three annual Saturday horticultural events.
