Predator control volunteers - Albany
Help wanted in the Albany area!
We NEED local residents to help protect wildlife in our local reserves, supporting meaningful and successful predator / pest control. This role would involve checking and resetting traps (with new bait) in local reserves each month (or fortnight if possible). Trapping pests will ensure 1000's more birds, lizards and fish thrive in our community. Volunteers will be fully trained on how to check and reset the traps safely and how to handle bait. This volunteer role is entirely flexible on what you are able to commit to and where you live. Traps could be checked while getting regular exercise, walking the dog and just being out in your local reserve. This is a great way to contribute and help support nature in your community. We'd love to get you on the Albany Trapper Team!
