Symonds Street Cemetery supporters
We are looking at organising a bi-monthly or quarterly upkeep of the cemetery to ensure this site retains it’s historical importance in Auckland City as it has a Historic Place – Category I listing with the New Zealand Historic Places Trust.
We would welcome volunteers who are able to spend some time helping with clearing the plots.
If you can spare an hour of your time that would be greatly appreciated.
We are able to provide training if necessary.

The Volunteers day/working bee is from 9am to 12noon on Saturday.
If there is rain a alternative date will be sent out via email.
