Kai Mara assistants

You will be assisting our Kai Mara Coordinator in the garden with the following tasks: weeding, planting, harvesting, cleaning, composting, clearing whilst bringing your own knowledge and expertise in growing food to go onto the table!
Adhoc tasks when and if required being directed by our Kai Mara Coordinator

Requirements:

Be available and willing
Can do attitude and sense of humour
Can work autonomously and as a team
Enjoys sharing indigenous knowledge and not scared to try new things
Enjoys meeting new people
Doesn't mind getting hands, knees and clothes dirty
Loves people, loves culture and loves the garden

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

We are looking for someone who can volunteer on Monday - Wednesday, approximately 2-4 hours per day
