Operations team secretary

The Upper Waitemata Ecology Network (UWEN) is a network of locally based conservation groups doing the mahi, supported by a small team of paid contractors. We have a wonderfully diverse, incredibly talented and very enthusiastic group of people sitting around a table once a month to catch up, share knowledge, plan for the future and generally uplift each other. We are looking for someone to join us and help keep the admin side of things in order and make sure we are all on track to deliver what we say we will.

We are looking for someone to take some notes so that we can capture the awesome ideas, action points and key decisions that are made.

Requirements:

We meet monthly on Mondays in the early evening (4 - 6pm ish) in the Hobsonville and whilst we do offer for people to join online, we would much prefer the secretary to be there in person to make note taking easier.

Ability to take succinct notes, capture the general discussion and use google drive are all we ask for. A sense of humour helps, as does maybe some basic understanding of conservation but we love to share so happy to upskill you here if you want.

Time commitment:

2 hours a month for meetings, maybe 1 - 2 hours on setting the agenda and finalising the minutes and then some emails will come through over the month as well as part of the general operational team communications.

Getting started:
The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below. We will then put you in touch directly with the organisation for more information on the role and how to proceed.
