Health Shuttle Team Leader.

The service is often used by older people, by people who are too unwell to drive a vehicle, and those who cannot access other transport options.

As a Team Leader, you will lead your volunteers to provide a safe and efficient service for clients. You will:

  • Provide leadership, direction, mentoring, and support to your direct team of volunteers
  • Oversee the recruitment and retention of your team, including organising activities to attract, induct, and support new and existing members
  • Coordinate team resources, service and maintenance requests, as well as maintain appropriate rosters
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Excellent communication skills, an empathetic personality, and a genuine interest in the well-being of others
  • Previous team management experience
  • Administration experience
  • Competent computer skills
  • Over 18 years of age
  • Clean criminal record

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

This role is flexible and can work around your availability, ideally you will be able to commit at least 2-3 hours per week.
