Wayfinding on Rotoroa Island
Our signs need regular cleaning and maintenance to keep them visible and readable for our visitors and to keep them safe. Occasionally signs will need posts replaced or vegetation cleared from around them. A small crew of people who could come and do this on a regular basis would help keep this key asset in tip top condition. Travel is provided on the ferry, or you may wish to come on your own boat. Overnight accommodation can be provided if available, but we ask that people work at least 1/2 a day each day.
Suitable for fit outdoors types as requires a lot of walking. You need to be prepared to carry and wield a kit with cleaning gear, spade, level and sledgehammer. a great opportunity to walk the islands tracks and roads
