Bike Repair Volunteer

Bring your love of bikes and join us for a rewarding day of community bike repair at the Wairau Zero Waste Hub!

We have an overflow of bikes in need of repair, and we’re calling on skilled bike mechanics and enthusiasts like you, to help us get them back on the road. Your expertise and passion for cycling will be invaluable as we work together to breathe new life into these bikes and then lovingly rehome them back into the community.

Volunteer opportunities include mechanics, greeters, and other roles suited for those with experience in bike repair. Whether you’re a seasoned mechanic or simply passionate about bikes, there’s a role for you at this event.

If you know how to repair bikes, or even if you are just handy enough to do some basic refitting, adjustments or lending a hand, that would be great! We need you!
If you're keen to help out on the day, but not with bike repairs, we need some general volunteers to help on the day, at the entrance/ front of house, and facilitating the day.
