Rongoa Garden Working Bee

Our Rongoa Garden will incorporate a variety of New Zealand Native Plants, guiding people through the space and encouraging them to stop and enjoy the garden. We will create a space for
Healing, contemplation and reflection
Enjoying Nature, Walking and resting
Connection with whanau, friends and community
Education about Te Ao Māori and Rongoa Māori practices
Growing and harvesting our own rongoa rakau

Requirements:

Working Bee Helpers: Saturday 25th May - Preparation of Area /General Gardening
Monday 3rd June (Public Holiday) -Laying Soil and Planting
Wednesday 12th June - Laying soil and Planting.
Saturday 22nd June - Laying bark and mulch.
Please note that dates may change depending on weather etc.

Time commitment:

3 hours morning 9am - 12pm and/or 3 hours afternoon 1pm - 4pm
