E-Receptionist
What You’ll Do:
Help our busy staff by answering any incoming calls from potential students, volunteers, and organisations.
Provide a friendly and welcoming experience to callers.
Transfer calls to the appropriate staff member using our 3CX VoIP system (can be done remotely from your mobile or laptop).
Take clear and efficient messages, ensuring important contact details are recorded so we can get back in touch with them.
Pass messages to staff via Slack, 3CX Chat, or email.
Answer basic questions about RYALT’s work, services, and volunteering opportunities.
This role is flexible in the fact that you may receive between 1-5 calls per day so can do this volunteer role around your normal day to day activities. We currently need someone for Monday morning 9am-1pm, Friday 9am-1pm & Friday afternoon 1pm-4pm. You could one or all of these shifts if it fits into your schedule.
What We’re Looking For:
Someone with a clear and friendly phone manner.
Confidence speaking with a variety of callers and able to make callers feel comfortable.
Ability to listen carefully and can accurately record and relay important contact information.
Comfortable with technology (training provided for the 3CX Voip system).
Reliability and able to communicate if not able to do their e-reception shift, even if just a couple of hours a week.
Up to 4 hours per shift
