Assistant Director

DreamCatchers WorldWide charitable trust has been providing services for vulnerable community groups primarily in Auckland, New Zealand, since 2016.

We are looking for an assistant director, based in Auckland, who will continue to provide support for the board, staff and volunteers for new projects in 2024 moving forward.

We aim to apply for grants to support our projects and need a dedicated director who would be able to split their time to help these ideas come to life.
We also would like to find more staff, volunteers and board members to breath new life into this inspirational charity.

Jazmine Cox, our founder and director, is currently based in London, UK, post-Covid and has been maintaining the accounts, website and infrastructure since her departure but would like to work with someone who is on the ground to assist with this move forward.

This is a volunteer position, however based on funding/grants, payment will be arranged project by project.

Requirements:

Auckland based
Experience in project management, not for profit or commercial business
Finance - budgets, Xero (can be trained)
Arts or Education experience/knowledge (not compulsory)

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Flexible
Minimum of 5 hours a week
Online availability for meetings with director
Volunteer basis
