We have an established framework of literature that spans multiple fields, including physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual human advancement, all of which correspond to key global topics. We are seeking an individual with a wide range of skills and expertise, possessing excellent writing, research, and editing skills, to assist in developing these personal and global guides. As part of our inspirational team of volunteers, you will work directly with the founder to help grow and refine content. We have an established framework of literature that spans multiple fields, including physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual human advancement, all of which correspond to key global topics. We are seeking an individual with a wide range of skills and expertise, possessing excellent writing, research, editing, and digital media content creation skills to assist in developing these personal and global guides and promote our work.
The ideal applicant will have 3-4 years of professional experience in a commercial capacity. We require an editor who can manage innovative concepts and grasp multiple themes, or a writer with a passion for personal advancement and helping others. The successful candidate must be articulate and able to present well-researched and referenced material. Alternatively, we are looking for someone who is a good editor with an eye for detail to check prepared research and content. Additionally, the ideal person should be capable of creating market and digital media content to help promote our work and reach a broader audience.
As part of our inspirational team of volunteers, you will work directly with the founder to help grow and refine content.
Please realise this is a six-month commitment, and we require two days per week, ideally Wednesday and Thursday if possible—hours: 9:30 to 4:30 at our offices.
Think carefully about this time commitment first. If you cannot make this commitment, are looking for a job within this time frame that would overcommit you, or are not in a position to commit, please do not proceed with your application. It takes a lot of time to introduce volunteers to the role, and we do not have dedicated training facilities. The benefits of your volunteering only become valuable to us after you have been oriented into the role. We cannot afford to interview and invest the initial weeks into your induction if you are not in a position to volunteer for six months. Occasionally, we consider a three-month commitment, with four days per week, including two days working from home.
Note: We reimburse volunteers for their travel, food, and drink expenses associated with volunteering. A reference is provided after six months, and many volunteers go on to secure well-paid positions.
