Community Gardeners

As a Gardener, you will help with all the processes of organic gardening, including seed-raising, sowing, planting, weed management, harvesting, seed-saving, composting, and more. You may also assist with caring for our animals, helping in our farm shop, or other general farm duties. You will be able to share our daily communal lunch, cooked from produce fresh from the gardens.

Our work is based on our three pillars: - Education - we teach people of all ages about home gardening and sustainable living - Therapy - we support people experiencing mental health challenges to garden for therapy - Community - we use growing food as a starting point to bring our community together. Volunteering is a great way to gain practical experience with organic gardening and farm management, meet new people, and make a positive impact for your community.

An interest in gardening and sustainability is helpful for this role, but no experience is necessary. Our Garden Manager will provide an induction to the site and organisation on your first volunteer day, and ongoing training will be available.
