Hope Worldwide-Pakistan
Hope Worldwide-Pakistan is a faith-based Humanitarian Organization for Poverty Eradication in New Zealand and have members, our volunteer groups and organizations in other part of the world. Currently we offer services in Pakistan and Thailand.
HOPE engages youth volunteers to broaden their participation in the development process and play key role in Humanitarian Development. HOPE reaches out to the vulnerable group of people in the community via a strong volunteer pool to support the community's need.
HOPE's mission is to support, promote and safeguard the fundamental human rights of vulnerable groups whose lives have been traumatized by disasters, poverty, persecution or discrimination. Transforming lives by acknowledging people’s strengths/needs and walking alongside to improve livelihoods have been always been the main core purpose of this organization.
HOPE intends to provide possible economic, social, moral and financial assistance, and develops activities to educate the public on the plight of vulnerable groups including migrants, asylum seekers and former refugees. We support and launch systematic fundraising activities to finance sponsorship of vulnerable people whose lives have been traumatized by disasters, poverty, persecution or discrimination.
Here in New Zealand, HOPE runs Food Watch Program, and intend to launch project for ethnic communities to remain socially connected, HOPE organizes fundraising events such as sausage sizzles, family fundraising event and cultural events by inviting and bringing all cultures together and celebrates diversity where everyone feels welcome, connected and respected. This also boosts up social and emotional health for communities and receives a great appreciation for ethnic communities and their contributions for greater and healthier society.
HOPE uses its current network and encourages members of the public to donate for the charity's purposes. Charity has its membership fee and donations paid by members. In order to provide services and promote organizational objectives , many volunteers has signed up and offered their services voluntarily .
Available Roles:
HOPE is a registered charity supporting people from refugee backgrounds. We need a Driving Instructor [volunteer] to help us for new immigrants to learn how to drive.
Hope Worldwide-Pakistan is seeking a volunteer to organize BBQ sausage sizzles and other charity events. Make an impact while using your event planning and community engagement skills.
Admin Support and house keeping
HOPE Worldwide Pakistan based in Henderson, Auckland, is looking for one volunteer to assist daily admin tasks for 10 hours per week.
We do need a physical strong volunteer , who can carry food boxes and enjoys doing physical work .
