The Gavel Club (Centre for Brain Research)

Our Club is designed for the needs of adults with aphasia, which usually results from a stroke, traumatic brain injury or tumours. Members take part in public speaking opportunities, mentored by speech-language therapists and a Toastmaster, in order to build confidence in communication.
