Debunking the myths and harnessing the impact of social media

Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube and Vine - do you panic when faced with social media and how best to use it for achieving your organisation's goals? Would you like to learn how to use social media to increase your organisation's reach and raise your profile? Maybe to attract volunteers and donors and tell stories of the impact of the work you are doing?

Come to this half day workshop to understand from an expert why social media is so important and why it is here to stay in our world today. Learn why it is vital to the Non-profit sector and how to curate and create content which is meaningful and impacting.

Volunteering Auckland is pleased to be able to offer this workshop at subsidised rates due to our partnership with BNZ. The morning will include both theory and practical tips as well as the opportunity to ask questions about your own organisation.

Facilitator: Anna Connell is the Social Communities and Content Manager for BNZ.

Venue: Volunteering Auckland, 1 The Strand, Level 2, Takapuna Service Centre
[Above Plunket and beside the Library]
