Funding & Partnerships Coordinator

Eaglevision Coaching & Training is a developing, Christian-founded social enterprise supporting parents and whānau navigating chronic childhood illness, complex medical conditions and the ongoing pressures of medical caregiving.

We believe parents matter. Our vision is to make meaningful, practical support accessible to families who need it, through coaching, parenting programmes, pregnancy support, resources and community partnerships.

We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Volunteer Funding & Partnerships Coordinator to join our developing team and help build a collaborative, innovative and financially sustainable future for Eaglevision.

Your role will include:

  • Identifying and developing relationships with potential funding partners, businesses, community organisations and philanthropic supporters.
  • Researching grants, sponsorships and other funding opportunities.
  • Preparing compelling funding applications, sponsorship proposals and partnership communications.
  • Exploring collaborative projects, in-kind contributions and opportunities to share resources and expertise.
  • Building and maintaining meaningful relationships with partners and supporters.
  • Maintaining a funding and partnership database, tracking opportunities, communications and follow-up actions.
  • Working with Eaglevision's founder to develop funding priorities, project proposals and supporting budgets.
  • Supporting grant reporting and accountability requirements.

You won't be starting from scratch. Eaglevision already uses Fundsorter to identify and track funding opportunities. You'll be able to build on this resource while bringing your own research skills, creativity and connections.

Eaglevision currently operates through a limited company with fiscal hosting through The Gift Collective. Understanding funding eligibility and exploring suitable partnership arrangements will be part of the role.

We're looking for someone who can help turn opportunities into meaningful relationships and sustainable support, not just complete applications.

We believe that strong partnerships should create value for everyone involved. We want to develop relationships built on shared purpose, mutual respect and genuine collaboration, rather than simply seeking financial contributions.

You'll work closely with Eaglevision's founder, with opportunities to bring your own ideas, take initiative and help shape how our organisation grows.

This is an opportunity to contribute your skills to an emerging social enterprise that values innovation, collaboration and long-term sustainability, while making a meaningful difference for families navigating medical complexity.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Experience in fundraising, grant writing, partnership development, business development or a related field.
  • Confidence researching funding opportunities and preparing written proposals.
  • Initiative, creativity and an ability to recognise opportunities for collaboration.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence using email, spreadsheets and digital documents.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with Eaglevision's founder.
  • Integrity, reliability and a genuine commitment to our purpose.

Experience with New Zealand philanthropic funding, corporate sponsorship or community partnerships would be particularly valuable.

We welcome people with relevant professional experience as well as those who have developed these skills through community involvement or volunteering.

Familiarity with the challenges of chronic childhood illness or medical caregiving would be an advantage but is not essential.

Eaglevision is founded on Christian faith and welcomes volunteers of all backgrounds who respect its values and purpose.

Time commitment:

Approximately 2–4 hours per week, with flexibility around funding deadlines, partnership opportunities and current projects.

This is an ongoing volunteer role, primarily undertaken remotely, with occasional online meetings and potential opportunities to meet community or funding partners.

You'll work closely with Eaglevision's founder, with agreed priorities and regular communication.

Getting started:
The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below. We will then put you in touch directly with the organisation for more information on the role and how to proceed.
