Legal Advisor | Social Enterprise & Organisational Development
Eaglevision Coaching & Training is a developing social enterprise with a heart for supporting parents and whānau navigating chronic childhood illness, complex medical conditions and ongoing caregiving pressures.
We are seeking an experienced legal professional to join our developing team in an ongoing advisory capacity.
Eaglevision currently operates through a limited company and has a fiscal hosting arrangement with The Gift Collective.
Our immediate priority is exploring an affordable legal structure that clearly establishes our social purpose, supports access to grant funding and allows us to remain innovative, independent and financially sustainable.
We are not looking to establish another charitable trust by default. We want to explore creative, legally sound alternatives that serve our mission and enable sustainable growth.
Beyond this initial project, we would value ongoing legal guidance as Eaglevision develops its partnerships, agreements, governance and operations.
This is an opportunity to contribute your professional expertise to an organisation working to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families under medical pressure.
We are looking for someone with:
- A legal qualification and relevant professional experience in New Zealand.
- Knowledge of company law, social enterprises, nonprofit structures, charity law or governance.
- An interest in creative problem-solving and sustainable organisational development.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- A commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity.
Eaglevision is founded on Christian faith and welcomes volunteers of all backgrounds who respect its values and purpose.
Experience across every legal area is not expected. We particularly welcome someone willing to explore options alongside us.
Approximately 2–4 hours per month initially, with flexibility depending on current projects and legal needs.
Work can largely be undertaken remotely, with occasional online meetings arranged at mutually convenient times.
We are seeking someone interested in an ongoing advisory relationship rather than a one-off consultation.
Getting started:
The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below. We will then put you in touch directly with the organisation for more information on the role and how to proceed.
