Marketing and social media support

With 85,000 people to reach across Upper Harbour - we are looking for an extra pair of hands to help us out!

Our mahi includes a full range of amazing projects all doing something positive for the environment and our native plants and animals (and humans too). We are looking for someone to help us tell our story, reach a wider range of people in the community and spark interest and engagement.

This is a truly flexible role, with opportunities trickling through to you all the time and you can fit this around your schedule and take on the projects that spark joy for you. We would love any and all help offered with things like: monthly newsletter production, website management and maintenance, social media posts, event listings, media presence and basically anything that lets people know we exist and how they can get involved.

We are happy to invest time into supporting you to get set up and we'll trust you with access to all the back-end side of things, in return we do ask for some ongoing commitment from you, ideally for a period of 6 months or more.

If you would like to find out more then please reach out - we'd be happy to hear from you.

Requirements:
  • Own laptop, secure internet connection, experience or passion for using tools like Wix and Canva to create wonderful designs and content.

  • There are some deadlines to meet but there would never be any expectation for urgent tasks to be created so you will be able to fit in support around your schedule

Time commitment:

It is likely that this will be around 3 hours per week but probably less - but there is always scope to do more if you feel like it! We also have some other groups within our network that would love your support too.

Happy for this to be weekend / evening / day time - whatever suits you best.

Getting started:
The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below. We will then put you in touch directly with the organisation for more information on the role and how to proceed.
