Chalkboard Painter
A bit about the Disabled Citizens' Society kaupapa - we’re a small non-profit that’s been around since 1943, originally supporting disabled war veterans. These days, we work with a wonderful group of people living with physical and intellectual disabilities, supporting them to build life skills, find purpose and connect with their community through paid work.
While all of this is happening out the back, the front of the building is our DCS Opshop. The Opshop serves as a training ground for people with disabilities to gain qualifications in retail. We have recently acquired a chalk sandwich board to help us increase our visibility. Now we're on the hunt for someone who can help us make it look super cool and eye-catching!
An artistic flair is a must. Preferably someone who is also confident with writing clear text.
In your email, please attach examples of your art work.
This is a very easy-going role, it can be completed onsite here at DCS, or you can pick up the chalkboard and take it home to complete in your own time. We'd be looking at a new design every month or so, especially as we're just introducing the chalkboard.
