Volunteers Wanted: Be the Face of Hope for the Cancer Society!
Do you love cheering people on, spreading positivity, and making a difference in your community? We're looking for 6 enthusiastic volunteers to help represent the Cancer Society and support over 200 amazing runners at the Auckland Marathon who are raising money for people affected by cancer.
💛 What you'll be doing: You'll be cheering on participants and supporters, creating an energetic and encouraging atmosphere, thanking fundraisers for their amazing efforts, wearing our fun daffodil headpieces and carrying cute motivational signs.
🌼 What's in it for you? Be part of an inspiring and passionate team making a real difference for people affected by cancer. Enjoy a fun and uplifting volunteer experience, meet new people and share in the excitement of the event day, team up with a friend and do something good together.

Where and when - Join us on Sunday 1st November 2026
2 Volunteers required at Akoranga Bus Station, Northcote (near to aid station) from 7.00am – 9.00am
2 Volunteers required at Point Erin Park / Sarsfield Street (near to aid station) from 7.30am – 9.30am
2 Volunteers required at the finish line Victoria Park from 8.30am – 10.30am
