Grant Writer

We're seeking a grant writer to help us secure funding for our training and employment programmes. You'll have the choice of being based in offices above our Takapuna training cafe, Flourish Cafe, or work from home.

As a non-government funded charity, Project Employ relies on grants and donations therefore you'll need the confidence to build professional relationships with potential funders.

Requirements:

An experienced grant writer would be great, as would knowledge and understanding of the not-for-profit sector. But we're also keen to hear from you if you believe you have transferable skills from a previous career that would be just a beneficial to the role.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Approximately 8-10 hours per week - either one to two days per week, or spread across the week.
Ideally this would be a long term commitment due to needing consistency with funders.
