Auctioneer Golf Day
The Auckland Softball Association Golf Day is held at Huapai Golf Course on Thursday the 3rd of September. We are looking for a volunteer auctioneer to run our auction of donated gifts and prizes.
What you’ll be doing
• Host and run a live charity auction for approximately 3 hours
• Introduce auction items and generate excitement
• Engage and interact with the audience
• Encourage competitive bidding and maximize fundraising
• Keep the auction moving, energetic and entertaining
• Work with the event team to ensure everything runs smoothly
We’re looking for someone who:
• Is confident and comfortable speaking to a crowd
• Has great energy, personality and a sense of humour
• Can think quickly and engage with people
• Is comfortable using a microphone and commanding a room
• Ideally has previous auctioneering, MC or event-hosting experience — but enthusiasm and personality are just as important!
3 hours from 5pm to 8pm.
