Schools Cycling Event- Road Marshals Required
Kia Ora! We are on the lookout for a group of awesome volunteers to help with some marshaling at our Schools Cycling Road race event called the 'Northern Tour'. Details below- please let us know what day/days you would like to committ to!
Friday 4th September 2026. Marshaling based at Mount Wellington, Auckland, 1pm-5pm approx.
Saturday 5th September 2026. Marshaling based at Waiuku Primary School, 10am-4pm approx.
Your role will require standing at a certain point of the road racecourse, ensuring that are riders are going the correct direction!
This event will be outside, so you will need to be comfortable and prepared to stand in outdoor environmental conditions for a long period of time.
You will also be required to be on your feet for a certain number of hours.
Confident and clear with talking through a radio to our traffic controllers if required.
Friday 4th September we will require marshals from 1pm-5pm approx.
Saturday 5th September we will require marshals from 10am-4pm approx.
We will have a volunteer briefing 20-30 minutes prior to the event starting times above which you will be required to attend.
