• Be hands-on, enthusiastic, and patient

• Commit to weekly unit meetings during school terms, plus planning and occasional weekend events

Glenfield Rangers:

Location: Hall Road, Glenfield, Auckland 0629
Meets: Wednesdays
Times: from 19.00-21.00 term-time only on weeknights and supports Youth aged 12-17 Years

Previous Experience:

You don't need previous Guiding experience—we provide training and support. Experience working with children or young people is helpful but not essential.
We're looking for reliable, positive volunteers who are keen to make a difference.

Requirements:

Must be aged 18 years or older
Able to commit to regular attendance during school terms
A driver's licence is helpful but not essential

Time commitment:

This volunteer leadership role requires approximately 2–4 hours per week to plan and deliver activities.

What's involved?
During the school term, our leaders:

Attend a weekly unit meeting (up to two hours)
Help plan and deliver engaging activities for girls
Participate in occasional training sessions (evenings or weekends)
Attend occasional planning meetings, camps, trips, and special events

If this level of commitment doesn't suit your current circumstances, we'd be happy to discuss other volunteer opportunities that offer greater flexibility and may be a better fit for your availability.
