Friendship – Shooting Hoops & Creative Activities (Hillcrest)
IHC is seeking an energetic, positive volunteer to build a one‑to‑one friendship with a young adult living in the Hillcrest area.
You’ll spend regular time together enjoying casual sports such as shooting hoops, along with creative activities like simple video or YouTube‑style ideas. This role suits someone who enjoys being active, having fun, and building connection through shared interests.
The focus is on forming a genuine, steady friendship over time, built on trust, encouragement, and shared enjoyment.
Based near Hillcrest / North Shore Auckland
Energetic and enjoys casual sport
Creative, especially with simple video or YouTube‑style ideas
Positive, engaging, and friendly
Reliable and interested in ongoing commitment
Keen to build a fun, active friendship with a young adult
Flexible, by mutual agreement. Typically a regular catch‑up (weekly or fortnightly). An ongoing commitment is preferred to support building a steady friendship.
